— Two tone salmon and lilac sunrise

Good Morning All,

Recently, a couple of you have challenged my strict historical accuracy for the events listed above. Such as whether Phyllis Diller really did star in the Broadway premiere of My Fair Lady. I will confess that on rare occasions I will take a small liberty with the details following the initial news item. In this case, for example, it was not Ms. Diller who starred as the original Eliza, but she seemed a more colorful choice than the woman who actually played Eliza first, namely Eleanor Roosevelt.

I now feel recovered from my Monday/Tuesday trips to the doctor. In fact, rejuvenated to such an extent that yesterday afternoon I took  the last packing box of books (I’m pretty sure) from the garage down to the basement and found room for its contents on the shelves.
In the big room down there, I have five Ikea bookshelves along the north wall and another five along the south. Each contains six shelves. Each self holds around 30 books, give or take. Since I have doubled up books on about half those shelves, I’m estimating our library comes to something like 10 X 13 X 30 = 3,900 volumes.
The good news is, I’ve read probably less than two thirds of them, so I’ve got way more than enough to keep me busy.

Go Well and Stay Well,

Bhekaron
